Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I wish there were more than 5 stars, this place deserves a seven! Absolutely superb food, quickly prepared, brilliant service. If there is a downside, it's that the servings are too big! We ordered tempura chevettes and the smaller two-person boat - the first thing that was served was a delightful soup, accompanied by finely sliced pickled daikon cabbage, two beautifully balanced flavours. Then we are served our main, the k48 boat for two. Another superb blending of flavours, including rice-paper sushi rolls, three types of sashimi and an assortment of temaki. Finally, thinking we were perfectly full, we were served the last part of the k48 order, 8 brouchettes.... We didn't read the menu completely, and didn't realise these were included in the price!!! We wound up not finishing these, as we were too full!!! Including two beers, all this for less than €55!! Well done, Anata! Highly recommended!"
"We often order take out and it’s always quick, friendly, and delicious. You also get a discount for takeout so that’s another bonus."
"It doesn't have the taste that I got in Japantown San Jose, California, but it is not bad. Give it a try. Menu has Cantonese fried rice, and nems. Boba tea is at 5.90 euro. The surprising thing in the menu that I ordered was grilled beef wrapped in melted cheese, but I prefer without the cheese."
"Amazing food especially the sushi can’t stop ordering"
"As neighborhood Japanese restos go in Paris, Anata does a good job. The menu consists mostly of the typical sushi and sashimi combinations and mix-and-match Bento boxes, as well as a la carte sushi and yakitori options. The Dragon Roll is quite satisfying. Service is very attentive and friendly (speaking as a longtime regular). A good mealto be had, if an unsurprising one."
"Always serves great food. Good sushi for a good price! Definitely recommended."
"I’ve eaten more than 13 times in one month here. The staff are great and friendly. The food is perfect!"
"Delicious sushi in the French capital. Very well priced for the quality and quantity. You can see the chef working in the kitchen. English speakers beware, there may be a language barrier!"
